Rode 65.2 miles today through lots of rice paddies, into Oberlin, in the 50s with some head winds. Got delayed in Mamou when the highway was closed for a block party, then went on a mini detour, but had to wait for part of the Mardi Gras parade of people on horseback to go by. We didn't mind since they were all admiring our VW.
