Two flat tires in the Apache Nation

This is the thorn that caused Kathleen's first flat of the day, then just a few hours later the same thing happened again. Luckily the Van was close enough for them to be able to change it out without having to be on the side of the road alone.

We rode through Geronimo, and part of the Apache nation, with a snow capped mountain visible most of the day. It really makes us think of the Wasatch front of the Rockies where we live.

In late afternon, the clouds got heavier with the sun trying to peek through, and we even saw lightning. Kathleen got some neat photos of the cloud formations. We are in Globe for the night.
